I tried this today with the same ND filter. The penny wasn't enough so I taped two quarters to the back of the zenmuse camera plate. That took care of the tilt balance but the roll balance was still slightly off, so I taped a penny on the tilt motor cover. That seemed to balance everything out but I was then carrying a LOT of weight... the ND filter, two quarters and a penny. Seemed to fly ok but lost about a minute of battery time. I'm not comfortable with this solution so I'll probably just not use the ND filter. I shot two video's both with and without the filter and didn't see a big difference between the two. I had the GoPro set to 1080p and 30fps, Protunes on for both videos.
