Software stabilisation always looks terrible. Even the expensive ones.
This is because people dont use stabilizers in a way that they should be used. For an example over-stabilized footage with a wrong stabilization method ends up in a bad outcome. In WarpStabilizer you have huge amount of settings that enable you to stabilize your footage in a way that makes the footage look the way you want. Even with a gimbal there are situations when somekind of a post stabilization is useful. Although I would also focus on getting the best possible footage on the go, post stabilization being only a last resort.
Havent ever used this, but looked worth of checking out (if looking something cheap)
