A 4K camera yes, but this rumour is regarding a 4K display.

Yeah, I have to agree with bbfpv.

Even with a large-screen HDTV, the image only occupies a portion of your field of vision. Point of diminishing return? In the right hands, the 4K images can be stunning, but with a lot of work, and a fair amount of drain on your storage and processor resources.

I like the 4K (or 2.7K) capability mostly because they can be cropped/tilted/adjusted in post (or frame-captured for decent stills), before they're converted to 1080, which to my eyes, looks just fine!

This is a good video to test out 4K with different settings/displays... I can see the differences on my ipad/iphone...
the 4K ipad display should shine with this kind of footage...
