4hawks range extender weak signal with Sunhans eSunRC SH-RC5824G2W

I installed Sunhans eSunRC SH-RC5824G2W to my Phantom 3 standard transmitter to the 5.8ghz antenna input but getting very weak signal. It flies further without only getting 1000 ft with amp installed
