Hey gudgeman, I worked for AMP Inc. and we had a plant in Spartanburg. Great area and loved those Southern Bar-b-ques. I'm in not so sunny PA. just outside of Harrisburg. AMP was sold to Tyco and I left the company but still think about Spartanburg and Cowpens.

Hey Sparke- this weather here isn’t the glorious SC weather you may have remembered (but winters likely pale in comparison to PA haha)- I work in the Regional healthcare system- actually live in Boiling Springs- been in area since 2004 just love it

Hey Sparke ... slightly OT but ... we used a million AMP connectors where I worked building the huge VLA radio telescope system. Those blue blocks similar to camac or NIM modules and the jillion of crimp pins. I built thousands of those connectors. Though recently retired, still have a couple of those AMP pin extractors in my toolbox.

Obligatory Phantom topic: flew my drone yesterday in the mountains making videos of some abandoned silver mines, headframes, and mill sites. Fun.
