Re: Aerial Videos for 2014
I did reverse the last Halloween shot for safety purposes. I first tried the shot by coming in and did not get the close effect that I wanted and did not feel comfortable bringing in the phantom any closer. I decided to hover close and pull away and do it in reverse in post processing. The last few seconds of that shot is actually zooming in on a single frame with a circular pattern to get what appears a real close shot with movement. The transition from video to a still shot is not perfect, but was good enough for the simple shot. The original video that the shot was taken from is more eerie if you watch it with the original music applied. See it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_oOEqv ... f4CwDGF4Xr
Thanks for pointing out your selections. I too am amazed at the waterfall rainbow. It is one of my favorites. The Sun was just about right except I did catch the shadow of the Phantom in the shot.camflyte said:So many wonderful perspectives to name just a few... 00:35 the rainbow waterfall is priceless; the four surfers at 2:41; the resort at 4:10; flying past the steeple and flag at 4:23; and the Halloween footage at the very end. (Was the Halloween shot reversed?)
Very nice, thanks.
