“Downward infrared sensor failure”
This message frequently appears in my DJI Go 4 and back lights turn red.
First of all P4P does not have downward infrared sensors.
Lot of people are having the same issue as stated at DJI forum (search there with quoted text)

I just got it twice today. I ignored and continued with no issues.

You guys don't have any gimbal guard accessory on The Craft? If so that might be causing the error

Nope, no accessories

After climbing fifty feet or so, I get the same. I tried turning off the obstacle avoidance system, but I still get the solid red lights.

Funny, since I replied to this post I have not had the issue again.
