Thanks to a windsurfer I'm flying pretty dang far. Is there such thing as a lightbridge repeater? I would put a repeater with windsurfer as high as possible using a pole. This way I would get longer distances because the repeater would be higher than buildings and trees.
I would like prop guards that protect from both below and above the props. This would protect the props when the drone flips over. Has anyone seen prop guards that do this?
I live in Seattle where it rains a lot. Given that I've got 8 batteries plus fast chargers to keep flying my two phantoms repeatly I decided to make a rain hood. Then I realized I could also make a gimbal saver instead of buying one. I used a empty sauce can to get the hood away from the props...
I own a standard and an advanced. I crashed my advanced the other and am very glad I have a second P3. The only thing I dislike about the standard is the short range.
I would like to house my drone in a locked cage where the roof can be remotely opened. What would be the easiest way to remotely turn the drone on? Is it get an ardiuno with something that mechanically pushes the power button as if a human was? The use case is unknown people show up at my house...
Even if I set the attitude for each waypoint at 390ft? I got the impression setting WP1 at takeoff point and attitude at 390ft would have it fly diagonally say 5ft horizionatally to 390ft vertically.
As long as I set first Waypoint to take off spot with a high attitude I should be fine.
The camera wires keep coming out after the crash so I need to take it to a shop that can get them in further than I can. Then this time I'll test Litchi at a park.
