Free rain hood, delivery platform, and gimbal saver using cardboard

I live in Seattle where it rains a lot. Given that I've got 8 batteries plus fast chargers to keep flying my two phantoms repeatly I decided to make a rain hood. Then I realized I could also make a gimbal saver instead of buying one. I used a empty sauce can to get the hood away from the props. It flies just not as well as I would like. Next I'd like to make a professional version maybe using 3D printing.

Note it can carry a taco but not a paperback book.
 
Liquipel coats the electronics only, not the shell. Check their site out as it has demo videos. They can do almost anything, but read the full details as it is not magic.
