Finally had a chat with "authority."

I;ve found the Rangers that police our conservation areas here in Ontario Canada, usually more than willing to help a drone flyer out. Example, I fly at least once a week at one minutes from my home & if there is no one around, they let me take off from the parking lot, if there are people/cars...

    Android issues

Acer Iconia one, tablet works very well, on at Canada Computers for 97 bucks. I was told, only get the one with the MedTek processor, I picked up the Iconia one 8" tablet/medtek processor, & its rock solid , no drop outs, no lag whatsoever.

Mod Moved - Strange Landing Issue

But, you should be able to kill RTH when you have you bird close enough to you, & then take over/land manually, no? As far as the falling & what looks like out of control, will take those much more knowledgeable than i to figure this out

    Finding the best tablet ?

I;m amazed at how good the Acer Iconia one 7" tablet is, no lag, no drop outs or disconnections in the 3 months i;ve been using it, i;ve dedicated the Acer to my Mavic pro, still use the trusty old Nividia shield for my P3A. Seems you should get the Acer with the MedTek processor, for under 90...

    Need advice on Phantom purchase

Rumours abound about new release, Friend says- basically a Mavic type bird with changeable lenses &/or zoom lenses. Company name mean anything- Zeis?

How bad is it really to store battery at 100%?

This may be a stupid question- Can i assume the rules of storing or leaving batteries as discussed above also apply to the RC? For instance, my P3A- RC i just leave without really looking at bat. level, but lets assume i will leave it at 60-70%, for a couple of weeks, as my Mavic sees most of...

    How cold is too cold?

Temp- -24 celcuis with wind chill -34 degrees, cold didn't stop this 140' x 60' building, burning to the ground, bright sun/snow. Ireally need to invest in some filters! I had some focus issues, attribute this to numb fingers.

    Flying in cold weather

I hadn't thought much about filters, but, with snow/bright sun, contrast is overwhelming! Who using what filters for these winter conditions? I will look this up, but first hand suggestions from flyers are welcomed
