You can buy a Phantom 2 Transmitter with a nimble wheel, that might work, I forget the model number but they are out there, check on ebay or ask on this forum.

I believe if you have updated to the latest vision losing the vision is a side effect, I also believe you cannot recover from this with a new wi-fi vision board, I understand this is documented and know on this forum - do search to gain more knowledge.

Chalk that down to experience and take note of the experienced Phantom Pilots - they know what there talking about.
