Im one of those people. Completely ruined my 3 standard by making the idiot mistake of putting the prop guard screws in without the guards. Ruined all 4 motors and shorted the board.

I did it... I had to get a credit card for it. My wife is probably going to murder me for opening a credit card for it, but i got it for $750 brand new. Now I gotta see what I can get for this Phantom 3 Standard lol

Another caveat I've noticed with this, is that when i fly while it DOES throw the battery error, Ill fly up 100 ft, then the battery error disappears fly down to 5 feet it comes back on... i think it has a lot to do with load, when i stop it at a certain height, it stresses the motors to stop...
