Yes, I have 4 batteries and interchange them between my Adv. and Pro all the time, just need to make sure the firmware is the same version on both birds.

You will want to get a carbon fiber gimble guard that fits between the landing skids. I actually use 2, 1 behind the camera. So the camera is kind of "Caged". You can't protect it 100%, but the guards do a great job.
