No, I would stop my video recording (if I was) and switch over to the photo camera and press the button on the app (not the controller - I keep forgetting there is a shutter button there, haha)
I set my drone to save the image files in RAW format only - didn't want to bother with JPEG as I shoot in RAW on my dslr's and prefer it.
Past couple flights, I take a handful of photos (but mostly video). On two separate cards, I've noticed that it is not saving consistently in one format or...
I was happy to hear that it sounded normal too - I had heard cases of a "whine" type noise on some. Definitely a loud hum - but steady. Made sure to read every piece of paper, charge everything up fully, pick a good day and an open field and sent it up in the air. Definitely relieving to see it...
I'm a new P4P owner as well - and I too was paranoid for it to work out of the box based on the stuff I had read about online. Happy to say that mine worked just perfectly out of the box!
Hey there - might be a silly question but as this is a new drone to me, I'm wondering something. A lot of the videos Ive watched, I recall people saying they loved that the props "click" when they lock in place. I have tried every which way and never feel any sort of "click" when I lock on the...
Because I had watched a video or read something about them saying it was a better way to update the firmware on each device (drone and remote) one at a time through the computer with the Assistant program, vs using DJI Go app. Something about the app not being always reliable or some such...
Are they form fitting around the battery? Could they still be stored in that, inside a hard case?
Thank you! I noticed with the drone just sitting on the floor of my room that the horizon tilt seems a bit off on the camera. Not sure if that's a calibration issue or something I can tweak in the...
That's what I was thinking - I was just getting conflicting information, but that is why I love forums - real world advice.
Another question I just thought of - when your drone is in its case / bag, do you leave a battery in it? Or do you remove the battery and leave the drone "open" until you...
Finally picked up my new P4P the other day! I spent the first thirty minutes of the "unboxing" stage just looking at everything and handling the remote and drone like they were made of porcelain (haha) before putting them back in the foam box (case on order! already dislike the foam box - once...
Looking online, Best Buy Canada says for drones they will only accept it if it is unopened.... Same appears for Amazon.ca - bummer. I just like knowing I can exchange something if it is malfunctioning vs having to go through warranty
A slightly off topic question but after watching so many videos of the P4 and P4P... Does the P4P remote (standard) have an HDMI port? Or does it need that accessory to add it to the remote? Can't remember if that was only missing from the P4 or if only the P4P+ has it.
I'm still saving for it so likely won't be till closer to spring anyway...On that note, though, how "weather proof" is it? As in sitting on snow to take off / land. Not flying in during snow fall or rain obviously, I just mean colder weather and sitting on snow.
Wondering if any fellow Canadians on this forum could point me towards where they ordered their P4P from, and why they chose that store. Did you buy from the states? DJI directly? B&H type stores, or a drone specific store? Amazon.ca? Etc. My main concerns are what if something is wrong and I...
