When is it time to replace Props?

I've always made sure to to take really good care of my props but just curious if at some point it's time to throw them away and replace them. Do they get brittle and break down due to stress over the years. Is there a recommended interval to replace them? Like yearly or something...

    Litchi Focus Mode?

Just wanted to follow up and let everyone know this worked perfectly!. I set up a quick Waypoint mission with Litchi. We were able to reproduce the shot we wanted several times in a row. Thank you Fly Dawg for your help and suggestions.

    Litchi Focus Mode?

At the very end when the P4P has ascended as high as I want (150ft). I want the gimbal to go level with the horizon. Do you know what gimbal pitch equals a perfectly level view? I noticed I can click on Interpolate and then I can change the Gimbal pitch angle. Would 0 be level?

    Litchi Focus Mode?

Yeah I will check that out. I think your suggestion of doing a waypoint might work as well. I can set a POI. Then a few feet in front of that set the first way point and start it at 15 or 20 feet. Then at a good distance behind it set waypoint 2 with an altitude to like 150 and tell...

    Litchi Focus Mode?

I thought with Focus mode you can just tap where you want the Phantom to lock it's gaze on and no matter where you fly the gimbal will stay turned or tilted towards it. I brought up Focus Mode and can see a google map view of my home. I tapped on the street near me and it dropped a pink...

    Litchi Focus Mode?

Hey Guys and Gals. Wanted to get some opinions. Getting a particular shot with the P4P was recently asked of me and it consists of focusing on a POI on the ground. P4p will start out at about 10 or 15ft up. Then while keeping that POI center frame I want to pull away from the subject...

Conflicting Info - GO app shows Restricted NFZ but DJI Site says Warning

I was trying to fly in a location today that on my DJI GO App shows right on the edge of a RED Zone when viewing the Map and says "Can't Take OFF" However when input the address into the DJI Geo Site for self unlocking, etc. It shows that address as in a "Warning Zone". Am I missing...

How to turn off smart go home

Why would you want to disable this? Does it not function as they describe? Sounds like it would be cool that it would monitor the time it would take to return home and initiate that in the event someone kept ignoring the low battery alerts.

    P4P Stills

So basically since the Aperture is key here to sharp clear focused images. Instead of using manual. Simply use Aperture mode and lock that at 5.6. Set Iso to 100, WB to whatever type of day it is. Sunny / Cloudy, etc. The camera should handle the shutter speed. If you need to...

    V01.03.0418 Firmware Succcess!

I wasn't opposed to using Go App to do the update at all. I guess it's just what you hear when you sit down to get started on it. For me I was hearing issues from people trying to update with the Go app. Something about a broken package message, etc. Just head over to the DJI Forum...

    V01.03.0418 Firmware Succcess!

If anyone was on the fence like me for a while about updating. I went ahead and did my P4P today. Specifically because I wanted the continuous Auto focus feature. (I have enough finger prints on my ipad screen as it is.. lol). Anyhow I put it off for a while due to many of the negative...

    March 7th, NEW P4P Firmware V 01.03.0418

Why not just make it simple and connect the Phantom directly to the computer via USB and use the DJI Assistant to update it all?

POLL? How many on here shoot in Auto and Semi-auto camera modes on their P4P?

Its so easy with this camera to simply select ISO 100, Shutter 120 (Assuming you're shooting 60 FPS. If 24FPS then shutter @ 1/50th and then just adjust your aperture as needed until you get the EV to show up as 0.0. If it's still too bright to you can pick up some ND filters. This...
