We could do with screen shots showing what the issue is, ive fixed p3 batteries and spark bats with the BK board and software, however i have tried mini 2 and air 2 batteries that simply refused to repair

Some phones dont show the pop up making it impossible to use, you could try enabling developer options and then enabling ADB mode (google for instructions) to see if that cures it. Or it could be a cable fault, so try another if not then the module on the back of the controller has failed, you...

Are you able to move it back to horizontal

Use APKMIRROR.COM to get the apk file and sideload it, you will need to turn off play protect on some phones

You should be able to download the app from the DJI site for any android device DJI say phone as a reference to any device but as its an older tablet the latest one wont work as they updated it, use APK mirror to get an older version and side load it (use google if you dont know what that means)

DJI Go4is the app, the fly app is for the mini series etc, as for your iphone its hit and miss if they work, i have an ipad with USB C and i cant get it to see my p3a quad, yet my android phones all work fine. as for an adapter, these have always been a fail point, it has to be the correct USB...
