UK CAA advice for commercial use

I highly recommend the 5day residential course with Commercial Drone Training. I did it and receive my PtF without any problems Watch other courses with regards to the flight test as it sometimes has to be done at another location at another times and do they work through the Ops Manual with...

    aggro, what to do?

Your are not correct when you say its a CAA recommendation to not fly over buildings, this is what is on the CAA web site Drones fitted with cameras must not be flown: within 50 metres of people, vehicles, buildings or structures I would be very polite and explain that you are flying within...

Yes they welcome you to fly your own drone or you can fly theirs. For my test I used their drone as it was no difference to mine. Most of the people on the course were flying their drones. The site they use is a nice place and you fly up on the hill behind the campus. Do watch the Ops Manual...

Where to buy in the UK

I got a great deal from London Camera Exchange which included 2 batteries. As for an accessory, have you ever flown a drone before? If not, I would buy a cheap drone like the Syma X5 for £40 on Ebay and crash that a few times, because you will and its better that than crashing the DJI...

We did things like building surveys and people came in and shared the type of drone work they do. You may...

Was trying for 3 miles this evening

Sorry but it's people like you who are ruining it for the rest of us. There are reasons you need to keep it visual and fly within the rules actions such as yours keep the calls for banning of drones coming thanks!!

Andover is not a good place as you have lots of restricted airspace around you, check out No Fly Drones | No Fly Zones for Drones in the UK | Fly Safe I am down Southampton way and same problem. I joined a local model flying club and its a good safe place to practise although not all clubs...

UK - where can you fly

You also need to make sure that you are not in restricted airspace. There are loads of zones around the UK often from 0-2000 ft where you need ATC permission to fly. look at No Fly Drones | No Fly Zones for Drones in the UK | Fly Safe

Great deal on Phantoms for UK buyers

Another good place to find drone deals are the Photography shows. I went to the one at the NEC earlier in the year and got an amazing deal on a P3A with 2 batteries from London Camera Exchange. IT was a show only deal
