My P2 recently got sucked into the tractor beam of a palm tree and head butted it 60ft up. Surprisingly, the damage was limited to one prop and a bent gimbal mount plate. I pressed the gimbal mount back into shape in a vise but it broke when I remounted it.
And I just looked up the replacement. It costs $75!

If it was billet aluminum or carbon fiber, I'd be happy to pay half that. But it's crappy brittle zinc and a bad design. The screw holes compromise its strength majorly. I am glad that it bent as it absorbed most of the impact but it would be better if it didn't crumble when you touch it. And not $75 to replace! Anyone find any alternatives? There's a $20 one for the P1. I am wondering if I can drill and tap the two screw holes in the middle. Who's already dealt with this?
