Hello all


I am going on a trip to Canada - Vancouver and I’ve asked all connecting airports if ok to bring my Phantom 2 with Gopro in its flight case on as hand luggage all so far has said its ok. But I’ve one question

They say it’ll have to go through the X-Ray machine will this mess up anything up like the GPS etc as I’ll not have a laptop with me.


Any help on this matter would be great???

Have never had to myself but as many folks on here that I've seen traveling with theirs I have never seen anyone speak of having any problems .

I've taken mine on a few trips. No problem with X-ray.

Most airlines have carry-on size limits, so check that your case is not too big. The lipo batteries are not allowed in cargo.

Most hard cases have a vent which should be opened to prevent crushing your bird at altitude.
