Why benefits would I get..

By binding my P3P remote to my P4 instead of using the remote that came with the P4? Would I get greater range? The P3P remote is a GL300B and the P4 remote is a GL300C..

Yes, GL300B has 25% more control power than the GL300C P4 transmitter. However, the P4 aircraft still has 20% less video power than the original W323 P3P for FPV, which the GL300B cannot improve. So range will improve, but without FPV, it may be of limited benefit, depending upon your needs. You will lose FPV before you lose signal.

Would be interested to know where you get your figures from... P3 controller was quoted by DJI at 20/16 FCC/CE, and the P4 is quoted at 23/17 FCC/CE so according to DJI the 300C for the P4 is more powerful.

It's definitely not.
I use the FCC ID#'s and get the power outputs directly from the FCC website.

WM330A P4 Aircraft
FCC ID: 2AHAY-WM3301601 .598 Watts v. 0.746 Watts on P3P W323 (80%)
GL300C P4 Transmitter
FCC ID: SS3-GL3001510 .303 Watts v. 0.380 Watts on P3P GL300A/B (80%)

The GL300A controller has a power output of 0.380000 watts
The GL300B controller has a power output of 0.380000 watts
The GL300C controller has a power output of 0.303000 watts

The W323 Phantom 3 Professional has a power output of 0.7460000

Maybe others can confirm or deny, but the new motor p3's have been neutered too

Not needed if you already have a transmitter mod on any of the other two transmitters. They are all interchangeable. Just pair them up. The only difference is the the switch labels are mislabeled when flying the P4. It is the switch positions that are the same, so the GL300C P4 switch positions are what you get, if using a P3 transmitter to fly the P4.

Yup! However, the GL300A and GL300B are the same and the best stock transmitters by output power for control. The P3P GL300C was the very worst.

Any idea how we find the output for CE regions? Also, here's a link to an interesting article:

I haven't received a reply to my email to him either. Not sure I fully buy the statements as having been made by the real person. Nothing posted since anywhere else in 2 weeks is suspicious, as are no replies to emails sent to the email address in 10 days...

I presume there is an online repository of CE ID#'s just like the FCC ID#'s in the U.S.. Just google the entire CE ID# and see what comes up. That's how I found the FCC ID power numbers for each aircraft and RC.
