This weekend, I was out taking still photos with a DSLR as a project that was intended to portray the fact that 'not all trawlers are slow' (typically trawlers are only 6 - 8 knots for the most part). It was an overcast day and the light was falling off rapidly so I decided to do some test shots instead. Once the stills were behind me, I then decided to shoot a bit of P3 footage to get some experience and test the bird out as well. Here's some of the footage from the the session, all shot with the P3 set at 4k. I must say that it was a bit of a challenge to organize the boats, think through a shot, operate the bird and control the camera at the same time, especially with only 15 - 20 minutes to do it in. Great fun though!

Cool video, thanks for sharing. I think that's about as fast as I have ever seen a trawler go. 
I bet it would have been nice to have some sunlight.
