Whether it be Real Estate or Weddings, what do people charge or feel is a fair rate for professional video. It seems with Weddings in many case you may be augmenting a ground level videographer and maybe that videographer is going to put the final video together that includes both your aerial video and their ground level video. In that case you are just providing them unedited video files.

So to me there's really two rates. One is the rate for the labor to capture the images. The other is the post-production work to deliver a finished professional product with music, titles, etc. etc.

So assuming you had to separate the two, what would you charge for just the post production alone? Seems like a per minute of running video rate would be most appropriate. So for example if say you charged a Wedding $300 to film on-site for an hour (which involves a lot more than one hour of labor as you have pre-planning with the client, possible pre-event site visit, setup and coordination while on-site, securing of waivers if necessary, contact/meet with venue manager, check local ordinances, etc etc etc) Then maybe a charge for post production of $75/minute, minimum 2 minutes might be appropriate, or $375 post production fee for a 5-minute video (aerial only) and of course still photos thrown in - so $750 total.
