Thanks for the input. Amazon has a SanDisk 1TB Ultra 3D NAND SATA III SSD - 2.5-inch Solid State Drive - SDSSDH3-1T00-G25 for $285 and a 500 for about 1/2 that. Will have to decide if I want to bump my cost by 30% for the extra horse power.

1. you don't NEED a SSD. In fact you don't NEED thousands of dollars. I can do 4k on my Lenovo 320.
I have Pinnacle Studio 21 and although running an A7, 2.7Ghz ,8GB RAM , and 1TB HDD isn't blazing fast it does get the job done and doesn't take very long.. $129 program, got it for $29 doing the online chat on their website.
I did find a FREE app in windows 10 called Animotica. They have a $10 paid version and honestly its pretty smooth for what it is. Here is a quick test video I did with it.
