Here's the award for stupidest question ever.
If you mount either an LHCP or RHCP antenna upside down, wouldn't they then become the opposite, and no longer paired properly with the matching antenna on the receiver?
Most of my antenna are mounted with a 90 degree adaptor to hang vertically upside down under the quad. That would in theory change a left hand to a right hand and vice-versa wouldn't it?

I don't think so. I don't believe radio waves know if they are upside down or not.

What would happen when kitari does a loop with his Phantom, if that were correct.

They don't know if they're upside down, so they won't know they're coming out of a left hand that is now a right hand antenna, they'll come out as if it's right hand when they're actually left, (and vice versa), but I don't actually get how radio waves can be either left or right hand anyway, so it's got me totally lost.

A right hand CP is always right handed.. no matter which way up it is.
Last time I checked, when I hung upside down, my left hand was still on the left side... lol
