Just looking into my licence - and that I'd love to hear from UK folk who can recommend a company to take the flight school/ licence to fly commercial course with?

I've been a while on Google and they all seem very similar so what should be the deciding factor? I'm tempted to chose based on location of the course and how long it would take me to get there!

I've just signed up with RUSTA for February, and I have started the e-learning modules in preparation for the course. I think they have (or going to very soon) put their prices up however.

You will be looking at an average of 3 months to get fully qualified.

Personally the deciding factors for me were location and price both of which RUSTA ticked all the boxes.

Be confident in the fact that all the NQE's have been vetted by the CAA so quality of the courses should be high no matter who you choose.

You will find a lot are run by ex-military or former commercial airline/heli pilots.

I would just look into additional costs that some NQE's don't include in their prices such as re-tests, insurances and a little nasty thing called VAT ;)

Hope that helps in your quest mate!
