I believe the alarm you are hearing is annunciating the need for controls calibration. Press the controller icon, press start, follow the directions. Then press finish and the alarm goes away.

Yup that's the one

That normally means either the remote controller sticks were not in the center when the remote controller was powered on or the remote controller needs to be calibrated in DJI GO like this:

Ok I did the calibration and that may have helped, only alarms once in a while.
a couple of new questions: The camera, I have the movie mode set to 1080 P. I assume if i capture a still in while the movie camera is running I just get a screen grab at 1080 pix wide.
as that seems to be what I got. I must have to turn off the movie to get a full size still picture.
