went out to fly my p4p today.
started the motors and got to about 10 feet than I stoped to check everything out and all looked ok.
went up to about 200 and stoped.
tried to rotate in a 360 degree circle when I pushed the left stick to the left the motors started screaming and I lost my video feed on my screen than the drone came straight down and slamed into the concrete runway.
thought I could see something on the video card but nothing is there.
I know the camera was recording when I took off but when I down loaded it to my computer there was no new video.

The video file has to be closed before it's visible.
If the Phantom can be powered up, put the sd card back in and power cycle it.

Holy crap! How old is this bird?

Really sucks, not telling what happened, need to see what DJI has to say I guess.

Very sorry to hear that man. Gosh that really puts fear in a person when that happens out of the blue with no explanation why!

Yea. Good lesson for all.

R/C aircraft fail and often without warning.

Yeah it's good to be nervous I guess. But I'm not sure what the lesson is yet? Drones will fail yes! Heli's will fail yes! Real aircraft will fail yes! Doesn't happen very often but yes all machines will fail!

Does the flight data give any clues?
Was the battery fully charged?
no idea what flight data was.
battery was fulley charged.
even after it hit the ground.
battery
it was about 10 feet from where the a/c was on the concrete runway.

it will be on the first thing smoken heading to DJI in the morning.

Even if the battery was charged up, the voltage between the cells is was matters. You can have as much juice as you like but if the cells are not outputting a high enough voltage for the needs of your craft the Phantom will shut down. Typically, a good level is between 3.8 and 5 V, and unhealthy batteries (might be new but may be faulty) in particular can drop out below this parameter.

Is there any way you can get a flight log up here? I know it's totalled but if anyone else here knows if it's possible, maybe get a log off your device?

Sorry to hear this happen, but if it dropped out of the sky as described I'm betting on an unlucky day for your battery.

All the best!

Maybe? Every day we examine flight data from the .txt file stored in the app.
To do it ....
Go to DJI Flight Log Viewer
Follow the instructions to upload your flight record.
Come back and post a link to the report it provides.
