Short range on WiFi extender more questions

Hey Guys
Hope you can give me some advice
Im flying my Phantom vision and I get to about 150 to 200 feet it looses signal and its returns home.
What am I doing wrong have tried different locations for flying cant seem to get over 200 Feet.
Is there basic settings that you can adjust flight height ???
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

When you turn on your controller does it beep once or twice? If it only beeps once it means you need to switch ot to fcc mode.

I think he means he is losing wife signal from the video at 150 to 200 feet which sounds pretty short.

But on flight distance and transmitter range thats way way short even if in CE mode. In CE mode I was still able to get out to about 425 meters or just shy of 1400 feet

I am down on range too after update it's not the firmware of the main board as I downgraded it, It looks like it's the update to the camera that's causing it I was getting over 4500 feet wifi with horizon antennas fitted bur after update to camera it's down to 2000 feet or 1500 feet
