Reported near miss at Heathrow

Wow! So first off, the pilot could spot that little 'ol drone at approach speeds?

It's also amazing how in the news article, the drone is compared to other full sized aircraft near misses.

If it was a drone at that elevation AGL, then someone needs to have their ears twisted, wrist slapped, or some other painful maneuver. Especially in the approach path to a major airport!

Really taken off in the news today, as the CAA has classed it as a catergory A near miss (the most serious non collision). As the day goes on, the mass of the drone has been going up and up. Currently being reported as a 10kg drone!!!
