Question No Fly Lock

Truly sorry I'm very sure this was posted but I'm out and about in an area where it's hit and miss hope this goes through so when I get into town it will be explained.
I went to an area today and could not fly states dji no fly zone. I had a pop up asking for credit card or phone number. Is there a card? If I give my number that will allow me to fly and if any damage occurs they have my information to cover the cost? Then I could fly tryin to be extra careful. Or does the flag me for future stuff ? Any feedback would be very kind. At the height I wanted to fly would be very low like 100 to 150. Again so sorry if posted before.

The option to unlock is only given for certain types of airspace. You can't unlock an airport, for example.
You can use a credit card or a mobile phone number. I have unlocked twice, using my mobile number.

Thanks Paul. So using your phone number does what ? Free them if do something bad is that all

Yes, I think it just links a flight to a person. It's an easy process, but doesn't absolve you of responsibility to fly safely.
