Protect/armor wires & cables - thoughts?

    Sitting thru yet another rainy weekend and thinking about all of the exposed wires on the exterior of the P2V. I'm wondering what everyone thinks about adding a layer of protection to some of them.

    I have a variety of wire protection sleeving to play with, so here's a slightly drastic approach to illustrate what I mean. This covers the compass and its wiring as well as the camera cable.

    Not sure I'll fly this way - just for illustration purposes and to start the discussion...
