Technically drones are banned in state and national parks. But so is flying above 400 ft and there are a ton of videos of people doing that. And that is actually dangerous compared to flying in a state park which is not.

Only banned in national parks not ca state parks. Monterey marine sanctuary no fly zone south of Carmel river.
