This was a short flight from Pioneer Trail Park in Escanaba, MI. I called the Delta Airport to inform them beforehand but it was after hours so I left a voicemail and kept an eye out for aircraft. You can see where the Escanaba River empties into Lake Michigan, the Escanaba paper plant, Wells Township hydroelectric dam and US-41, which is undergoing heavy construction. There used to be a double bridge there but one is being replaced and traffic was condensed to one lane North and one lane South on the remaining bridge.
