How do I get pics/vids to smartphone? Using iPad when flying. I can download pics/vids from sd card to computer. After that I’m lost. Totally stupid when it comes to that kind of technology.

You pc should see your phone as a hard drive if you plug it in to a USB port. At least android works that way. Alternately you could use Google drive

Hi Sholladay.
Do you have the dji go app on your phone as well as on the iPad? If you do, turn on your RC, then your phantom and connect your phone to the phantom WiFi, start the go app. There is a small box with an arrow head just below the camera button. Tap on that and the pictures/vids stored on the sd card should show up on the screen. Hit select, tap the pics/vids you want to download and then tap the tray with an arrow pointing down. Your downloads should start. When done just exit the screen and you’ll be back in the home screen of the go app. Your pic/vids should be in “photos” on your phone. No need to remove the card from the drone. This does however take a bit longer than when the card is installed in the computer. Some have suggested that if you have a large download to do it’s a good idea to use a fan to keep the camera cool, as it can get quite warm while the download is happening.
Hope this helps.
