Hello Pilots,

I have a trip scheduled to Indonesia (Bali, Yogyakarta) and Malaysia(Kuala Lumpur) set for a few weeks from now. I really want to take my P4 but I am not sure:

1) How well it will make it through customs.

2) If the standard battery charger will conver the voltage automatically.

3) If it is banned/illegal to fly in above countries in the monument and touristy areas.

Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Eric

Customs, just make sure to explain you are a tourist and will not be staying in the country more than -- days

Check the label on the charger
Mine says input voltage 100-240v
100 being US and 240 being europe and asia
So it should be fine with simply a cheap adaptor to be able to plug it in.
Always make sure input power stares 220 or 240v before plugging here.

And for the rules, just follow your best judgement,
If there is a sign asking not to fly, try not to fly too close to it.

Make sure you do a good calibration of the drone since you would have moved quite a long way.
And try to do it when the drone is the coldest possible (AC in the room)

Let us know if you have other questions :)
