I know a couple of days maybe a week ago I stated Im going to get a mavic in the next month or so. I have no been second thinking that that. I have been watching the forums over at DJI and it seems as if there is still allot of issues with the quad. Also the main reason for getting a quad is to do arial photography. I seen the sensor on this better also I will have the option to close the apeture down to limit the depth of field. Although I am a beginner to this will this be the correct choice to go instead of the mavic?

Do keep in mind that forums, owner's groups and other online platforms are going to contain a lot more of the negative feedback, problems, issues rather than owner's positive feedback on the drone.

Give this thread a read if you have not done so already: Is anyone actually happy with their P4P??

Whether the Mavic Pro or the Phantom 4 Pro/Pro+ is right for you will be determined by what you all plan on using the unit for. If you're looking to get into more of the professional side of aerial photography the camera on the Phantom 4 Pro/Pro+ is going to provide a lot more room for growth as you can can get a lot better quality out of the 1-inch sensor on that unit as opposed to the camera on the Mavic. Either unit is great for someone looking to get into their first drone. Overall flying characteristics are practically the same.

I hope this information helps to provide some better insight. Cheers!
