I was able to fix one of my P3 batteries.
Here's how:
Set battery discharge to 1 day at least temporary so you don't have to wait days to fix
Charge battery fully
Let autodischarge take effect. Allow a couple days beyond days to discharge to be sure it reaches its end.
Recharge fully
After I did this, details showed "connection OK" in green
Before I got to this point, I tried fully charging and discharging without successfully changing the detail. It's possible it only needed a few cycles to clear the alert.
It made sense though that since the alert mentioned self-discharge, that the answer was to toggle the autodischarge by triggering autodischarge, then immediately recharge.
