After having the black antenna wire break in half after a crash landing, I was reviewing videos of how to replace it. I don't personally feel up to removing the motherboard and everything in the way to replace the antenna. I was struck with the idea that couldn't I just take industrial glue and stick the antenna block to the landing gear and then connect the black wire into the gimbal. It wouldn't change the center of gravity, and I would avoid placing it where it might obstruct the sensors. Might not be the best for overall battery life, but I'm not to concerned about that. Would this work, or am I missing something?

Thank you. I couldn't find where anyone else had and just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything before I tried it.

How
It was on one of the past posts on this forum. Be careful you don't interrupt the compass in the legs. Test it carefully.

How would you recommend testing? Disconnect the grey wire and test signal with just black connection?
