If you're in the East you should be seeking out fall color to shoot, up close and from above. Do this on a sunny day in the late afternoon to enhance the color.

I’m mid Atlantic region and the color change here isn’t as spectacular here as up in the Northeast. But as they say...beggars can’t be choosers, so it is likely I will give it a go. I was inspired by the water shots in this video, so I did go to a marina this past weekend nearby...now I need to edit the raw video with the apps you guys gave me suggestions to try! I’ll see if I can turn sloppy into not bad...lol...such a rookie I am
