I made this when I was just a newly fledged drone pilot. --flying inches off the deck demonstrated both my naïveté and how well the course lock works. On this flight I learned not to fly behind mountains--I lost contact for 20 seconds but had set my auto return altitude higher than any surrounding peaks. So 20 seconds and it pops up and flies home. When I watched the video--the drone landed itself on side of mountain for 3 or 4 seconds with rotors spinning, then lifted off and came home. My only input was UP! after losing signal--no idea why it did what it did when no one was looking. I'm now at 225 flights on original props btw---I learned from every mistake though very lucky they weren't expensive ones.
