"Loz" - what warning message did you have saying it was the battery ? Was there any moment art power up and then off ?

I'm really intrigued by this battery matter .... I just find it as bad as Microsoft forcing people to IE / Edge .....

Has anyone actually used an aftermarket battery? And has anyone actually had a bad experience with one?

I have bought this 15.2V 4.5Ah for DJI Phantom3 Professional Advanced Standard Intelligent Battery | eBay

I swap it out in turns with my original battery. So far it has performed just as well as the original. I have seen no difference whatsoever so far. They are only about 2 months old but so far so good.

Mind you when I bought this it was $130 AU so big savings for me in Australia

As with my 'Irish' seller who actually is in China selling through Irish (EU) address ...

Performs just same as original ... the only thing that has happened with my first 'Irish' battery is the second LED is now slightly out of line with the case hole ... but makes no odds to battery or indicators other than that no 2 LED which still works fine
