Yip we all good ,,thanks for asking,,I'm in Wellington,,the Centre or the country,closed parliament main beehive so they must have xxxxxx themselves,,we used to quakes living on fault line but some of them,gezz grab a seat if you can,glad it was deep or damage would have been good ,I live at the red dot,anything shakes we know,,,should add,I lived alone at time of 7.8 at 12.05am approx, just gone bed and boom no warning,far out couldentry even walk or stand,everything breaking around me,gezz was a life changer ,,slept in the kitchen for couple weeks,,hey I'm tough but that is one powerful force and thoughts go out to those who also have gone through big ones,scary stuff

if curious she is gumboot throwing,,it's a bit of a silly tradition we have,if you throw it further you win something,,it's actually very hard to do,,bit of a action shot anyway,enthusiastic, she not look to happy,,watch those fingernails dear

I'm happy you are ok. You are a tough man to live on faults and have volcanoes around you. 40 to 50 mm movement year is crazy. One of the reasons I left Florida was the hurricanes. We had 3 hit our place in one month. My in laws are still without a home and are pleading for help to fix their house with about a few thousand others. I live on a mountain top in WV. and so far no hurricanes, quakes or floods. Just a lot of snow. Kind of a peaceful quiet type of a "disaster ". We stock up on food and have our generator if need be.

NZ is giving the royalty a NZ type of welcome, to go home and tell mum about.
