Our American friends might not speak Yorkshire, so an explanation. A Tad, means a larl bit (Cumbrian) both mean the same,"A little bit", but it is nuanced. When you say "A Tad ", meaning a little, you are deliberately understating, and you really mean, " A Tad windy== Blowing an Effing Gale".A tad wind so I thought I'd give flying a miss today. [emoji6]
