It's not just rich narcissistic youths who might be interested. What about serious athletes using this for training purposes?

I dunno.. I’m around a lot of serious athletes every day (I’m a sports photojournalist) and I still think its silly.

True but the market for a 2500 dollar drone for that demographic will do poorly in the market. I do not see this as a viable product, too much a very limited use case drone that targets a non existant market.

12-18 months the company will no longer be a going concern.

TOTALLY agree.. I was being VERY FACITIOUS.

BTW: They’re probably out there to sell their technology. No real intention of becoming a full big player, but just looking for B2B buyers. Just a hunch.
