Need to purchase an iPad to run Maps Made Easy App

I have a PHP+, and have recently purchased a set of regular controls so that I can use it with an ipad that runs the mapping app.

That should be fine. It's what I have used with MME
Hard to see the screen in bright sun so make or buy a hood is suggested

Thanks. I appreciate your help. I picked one up this evening.

It bums me out a little that I had to buy a second controller and an ipad, after having gone the route of spending more for the pro+ and the built-in screen, which I like a lot, but I wish they had considered third-party apps or at least let us know the limitations.
