From a beautiful, but windy 4th of July afternoon on Mare Island, Vallejo, CA

In the landing approach (around 1:00), you can read my thoughts by the camera movements:

"Oh shite...maybe I should have gone under the tree cover... wow, those trees are thick!
Should I just bail to the open patch (pan left)?....or bail to the parking lot (pan right)?
Oh come on, you can do this...gimbal down...take your time... that's it, you did it!".

Phantom 3 Advanced w/ current FW and current Pilot App./Galaxy Pro 8.4, which I've grown to trust more than my abilities ;o)

'Strange, but I got a notice to update firmware the first time I powered up that day, (I didn't), but then it indicated that it was up-to-date on subsequent power-ups that day (if that's the only glitch I see, I can live with it, compared to what some others are reporting, but it was a bit weird).

Cheers!

Nice flight , nice landing. Take off and getting to return safely is always a good flight, enjoy and get more more nice videos. Check out Windows movie maker and add some non- copyrighted music. Makes for a nice video.
