Maximum motor speed reached warning!

What is the problem with this warning?

I've seen that before, while running my P4 without the props. I was doing an experiment using a hypobaric chamber to see if I could alter the home point altitude. The experiment was a success, but I do recall seeing that error. If you're seeing it while the props are spinning there is probably something wrong. Maybe a bad ESC or sensor.

Is it because of overheet of motors?
Excause my bad English..

Saw that message yesterday in Sport mode. I backed off on my speed and the message cleared. Is it a sign of impending problems or just that I was flying too fast? The drone returned normally and flew normally after that message.

seen it many times in sports mode racing around obsticles.......YES i know its not what he drone was made for.....But its great fun

I don't think it has to do with heat. The motors control the quadcopter by varying the speed on all 4 motors. If one of the motors reach it's max speed, it can no longer adjust the control of the quad it that direction beyond what it has already done.
