AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- The Augusta Committee votes to keep drones on the ground during Masters week for a second year in a row.
Just like in 2015, if you cannot fly a drone in near schools, hospitals, neighborhoods, or open air sporting events. If you are caught, you could face 60 days in jail or $1,000 fine for navigating over populated areas without permission.
City leaders put off voting on a more permanent ordinance until state legislation is passed.
