Finally got my Phantom to turn propellers and come alive.
I had problems and it took time, but I figured it out(with this forums help) finally got a good battery, everything is updated and I even "Cold Calibrated" the IMU and gimbal on a complete, level surface.
I fired it up in the hotel room in Attitude Mode, let the props spin and watch the app for battery condition and just playing with things, checking things out ect..
I have done as much as I can do and I feel I am ready to take it outside and do a small course, low altitude(6 feet) run around the yard. I can feel this has a lot of power, the motors are very sensitive and feel powerful.
I cannot fly until I get home, as I am near the Albany, NY airport....so ....I'm not taking any chances with the laws.
Guess I'll look forward to reading more about the phantom at the hotel and anticipate getting home for a short flight.
Here she is, sitting on the table idling...
thanks.
