IMU Calibration Warm Up & Gimbal Horizon Issues, a must watch video

Sounds easy. I'm going to try it tonight.
Good luck and this is the level I used . Is sitting on the glass I stole from my mother in laws picture frame
Is ok though as the wife hasn't noticed yet :D

If you have a new Phantom 3 and you are not an expert, this video is the most important 7 minutes you can watch. It will prevent a lot of problems. If you don't watch all of it and end up losing your Phantom, it was because you didn't watch this.

I worked on military a/c navigation and bombing systems for seven years (although I will admit it was 30 years ago now) and to us the IMU was an inertial measurement unit - not internal measurement unit. No big deal but I'm betting the IMU's in these quads are performing the same task our navigation computers did - that being to sense the motion and attitude of the a/c.

I think many of us have assumed, just like me, that IMU means Inertial Measurement Unit.

Can anyone find where DJI confirms "IMU" is an abbreviation for "Inertial Measurement Unit"?

I can't. :(
